Police called to bank robbery in White Settlement

18 Jan

A man wearing a black and white Dickies logo hat along with a dark colored T-shirt with a red Dickies logo walked into a Wells Fargo location at the corner of White Settlement Rd. and S. Jim Wright Freeway and robbed the bank earlier this month. The incident took place on Jan. 5 around 1 p.m. in the afternoon. White Settlement Police were dispatched to the scene where the suspect fled in an unknown make or model 4-door passenger car.

In surveillance photos, it appears that the robber handed the teller a note demanding cash and then fled the scene with money in hand.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, short, light color hair and clean-shaven. No visible scars, marks or tattoos were noticed.

The robber is also a suspect in several other bank holdups including the cities of Colleyville, Bedford and North Richland Hills.

No one has been injured and the amounts of money taken have not been reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call the local police department at 817-246-7070 or Tarrant County Crime Stoppers, 817-469-8477.
