Early voting in runoff election underway in White Settlement

The runoff election between incumbent Paul Moore and challenger Danny Anderson will be held on Dec. 11, but early voting started this Monday at the White Settlement Public Library.  Early voting extends from Nov. 26 to Dec. 7.

In the general election on Nov. 6, Anderson received 1,160 votes while Moore received 809.  With votes split between those two and two other candidates, no one surpassed fifty percent of the votes in the race for Place 4, making the runoff election necessary.

A historic number of White Settlement voters turned out for the November election. Citizens wishing to help decide this election should return to the polls over the coming weeks so they can help decide which man will join the White Settlement City Council and help lead the City over the next three years.
