Early Tuesday morning a staff member found a note at Lake Worth High School suggesting that a bomb might be in the school. The campus was locked down while police and fire personnel checked the building.
A local radio news station reported the note as saying, “I and three other people have bombs. This place is doomed at two.”
Students and staff members were directed to a nearby shopping center parking lot as they arrived at the campus. Students and staff were allowed back on campus around 8:30 a.m. after the all-clear was given by emergency workers.
