-All Day – “Stock Show Goes Pink.” Visitors and participants are encouraged to wear pink to show their support.
-4 p.m.-7 p.m., Komen will have a booth in the concourse of the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall where people can pick up information on Komen events, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities
-Also, 4 p.m.-7 p.m. – “Pink Ribbon Rodeo Reception”, Cactus Room, Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall
WHAT: Wear your pink in support of the cause! “Stock Show Goes Pink,” Tuesday, Jan. 29! The event supports the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Greater Fort Worth Affiliate.
In addition, breast cancer survivors registered through the foundation will receive free rodeo or grounds admission tickets from the Stock Show.
Komen will host the “Pink Ribbon Rodeo Reception” from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. for survivors and their families and friends. EVERY TICKET COUNTS! The Stock Show will donate 50% of that day’s Rodeo and general admission ticket sales to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Greater Fort Worth Affiliate.
WHO: Over 600 North Texas breast cancer survivors, their families and friends, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Greater Fort Worth representatives and Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo representatives will be on hand. Additionally, some PRCA specialty acts and rodeo contestants will be on hand during the reception signing autographs, etc.
