City makes room for weather station

The City of Fort Worth demolished a 90-year old water tower in the northwest part of Fort Worth this past week to make room for the installation of a weather radar station. The tank, which held 500,000 gallons, has been out of service since 1999. Originally, it was located on the southside of West Berry Street before being moved to Boat Club Road in 1963. Jenkins - From Ten Mile Bridge Road
