One of the longtime vacant buildings along Cherry Lane has been sold. The owner of local automotive business R.L.B. auto group recently purchased the old Luby’s building.  Renovations are underway and the new owners are considering possible businesses for the building, with many in the city hopeful for a new restaurant.  With the other new businesses and hotels opening in the area, as well as the Region 11 Service Center building that is expected to be finished this year, the sale of Luby’s seems to be another positive step for this once maligned section of White Settlement.
