Nearly 50 people are displaced after a 2-alarm fire burned through The Legacy apartments in White Settlement Sunday evening. The two-story apartment complex was located across the street from Lockheed in the 400 Block of Ralph Street near Clifford Street. The fire went to 2-alarms after spreading into the attack area. Reports say eight units were completely lost in the fire, while neighboring units sustained smoke and water damage. In total, 49 people were displaced. The American Red Cross will be proving shelter to those displaced residents. No injuries were reported in the fire, but one firefighter was treated on scene for dehydration. The cause of the apartment fire is under investigation.
