With their targeted opening date of Memorial Day weekend fast approaching and lots of work left to do, Hawaiian Falls has confirmed that their opening will be delayed. Barring any further weather delays, the new plan is to hold a special event on Thursday, June 5 for VIP community partners and exclusive season pass holders. Then the park will have its full opening to the public the following day on Friday, June 6.
Already facing a limited construction window, Hawaiian Falls received no cooperation from the weather. They lost thirty working days to weather, including the recent rain storms that came at a critical time in construction when final concrete was about to be poured.
Hawaiian Falls is extending season pass dates for anyone who’s already purchased a season pass by the number of days the opening is delayed. This means that no current season pass holder will miss any days as the Hawaiian Falls open season will be extended to compensate for the delayed opening of the park.
