Softball puts on big win against Wichita Falls

by A.C. Hall

Most people are familiar with the 10 run rule that can see a blowout ball game stopped early, but the Lady Bears needed a 15 run rule in their win over Wichita Falls on Friday.  Playing at home, the Lady Bears offense was in rare form, putting together 20 runs over the course of just 4 innings.  They would go on to win the game 20 to 2.
The offensive domination started early, with Brewer leading 13 – 0 after three innings.  The district victory comes as the Lady Bears head into the final few weeks of their season.
The Lady Bears are back in action this Friday night at home as they take on Denton.  First pitch is set for 6:30 pm.
