More than one-half of the field for the 2015 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial has taken shape, and many top PGA TOUR champions will be chasing the tournament’s Leonard Trophy and record $6.5 million purse. Defending champion Adam Scott heads the list, and will face several tournament

winners from the early 2015 season. Public ticket sales for the event are underway.

Already committing early to the tradition-rich championship are 2014-15 winners Jordan Spieth, Matt Every,
Brandt Snedeker, James Hahn, Charley Hoffman, Sang-Moon Bae, Alex Cejka, Robert Streb and Nick Taylor.
Scott and Spieth are currently ranked 4th and 6th in the world, respectively. Other top players also indicating
their intention to compete at Colonial include Jim Furyk, Hunter Mahan, Tim Clark, Ryan Palmer, Retief Goosen,
Hideki Matsuyama, Davis Love III, Brendon Todd and others. Former champions Boo Weekley, David Toms,
Rory Sabbatini, Corey Pavin, Tom Watson, Tm Herron and Steve Flesch have also already committed.
About 125 total players are expected to play in the event. Scott won the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial in 2014 in a dramatic three-hole sudden-death playoff with PGA Champion Jason Dufner. It was the 11th career win for the Australian, who won the 2013 Masters and was
ranked first in the world when he arrived at Colonial last May.
