Five Lady Bears volleyball team members earned All-District and/or All-State honors this season, and the girls and Coach Chris Rudiger were honored during the Dec. 15 board meeting. The Lady Bears were ranked in the District 5-A Top 30 this year.
Coach Chris Rudiger was selected as the Texas Girls’ Coaches Association District 5-5A Coach of the Year. Emma Craig earned Academic All-State 5A Volleyball. Lauren Jenkins was named 1st Team All-District, and Hailey Lafler, 2nd Team All-District. Emily Parker and Terrane Shepherd received All-District Honorable Mention.
