During work on the retaining wall/erosion prevention project near White Settlement City Hall, the City has spent some time working on the Jud Rowland Spring.  They have cleaned up the area around it and also lifted out the crumbling stone well that was built atop it.  The plan right now is to rehabilitate the spring and try to preserve the stone well that was pulled out. City officials are looking into the possibility of rebuilding it as a marker of the location for historical significance.
