Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
Active and retired members of the military can receive free rodeo tickets for themselves and their immediate families for Military Appreciation Day, January 30, at the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo thanks to Denbury Resources. Denbury is an independent oil and gas company with operations focused on the Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain regions of the U.S.

To receive tickets for the 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. rodeo performances, retired or active members of the Armed Forces must present military identification at Stock Show ticket offices at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. For more information call (817) 877-2420.
The Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base is coordinating a Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration ceremony honoring Vietnam War era veterans and their families at 6:15 p.m. in the Round Up Inn at the Amon G. Carter Jr Exhibits Hall. Vietnam War era veterans in attendance will be recognized at pinning ceremony with a Vietnam War 50th Anniversary pin. The era covers all who served on active duty in the Armed Forces from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975 regardless of location.The ceremony is open to the public.
