Suspect wanted in robbery of two convenience stores

White Settlement Police are asking for your help in identifying a suspect wanted for questioning in the robbery of the Cherry Lane Food Mart and the Quick Sak on Cherry Lane.

On Monday, Jan. 19 at approximately 9 p.m. a black male in his 20’s entered the Cherry Lane Food Mart and approached the check-out counter pulling a black handgun from the front of his waste and pointed at the clerk demanding money from the cash register. The suspect was described as approximately 6 foot tall, weighing around 200 pounds, wearing a red long sleeve Air Jordan shirt, light colored under shirt, blue ball cap, dark pants, sunglasses and brown gloves.

On Sunday, Jan. 25 at around 6:30 p.m. a black male described as approximately 6 foot tall, weighing around 250 pounds entered the Quick Sak at 898 S. Cherry Lane. The suspect approached the check-out counter pulling a black handgun from his waist, pointing it at the clerk and demanding money from the cash register. He was described as wearing light colored blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a long sleeve white under shirt with a red long sleeve outer shirt, black sunglasses and a white beanie hat.
